![]() The property was nice, with a relaxing pool and outdoor tables to eat breakfast besides a walking path along the water. It was hard to find a moderate priced hotel in San Diego that also didn’t tack on resort fees and hefty parking charges, and that had consistent good reviews…until I found this gem. As someone that exemplifies Marriott’s core values (putting people first, pursuing excellence, embracing change, acting with integrity and serving our world - found on Marriott website), if there is another way I can submit her for an award please let me know. Unfortunately she was already off duty when we returned to the room to see it, but her extra kind gesture was much appreciated. When we mentioned that it was my birthday and we had a nice evening planned, she thoughtfully took a birthday card and goodie bag to our room as a surprise. ![]() From the moment we called to request the shuttle (and early check in since we had just arrived from the east coast), she took exceptionally good care of us - promptly, proficiently and always with a smile. I’d like to make special note of Tiffany, who went above and beyond. The front desk staff to be very friendly and always helpful. Our stay was wonderful we found the hotel to be clean and comfortable.
